F28 Movie

During his service on the F-28, the author took an 8mm cine camera with him on many flights and created a short movie of F-28 flying, quite an achievement considering the difficulty of editing physical film in those days. This movie is dedicated to the crews and staff of MacRobertson Miller Airlines (MMA), Western Australia’s own airline, serving WA and the NT from 1934 to 1981, rising to become Australia’s third largest Airline and re-named Airlines of Western Australia until 1984, after which it was renamed again to Ansett WA, thereby disappearing into the history books.
